Al Gore Wins Oscar!Filed Under: Political

Short update here, but had to post something about it!

Al Gore, for his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” won the Oscar for “Documentary Feature”.

But within this whole hype, the one issue that should be kept at the forefront, as Gore stated last night during his acceptance speech.

“My fellow Americans, people all over the world, we need to solve the climate crisis. It’s not a political issue, it’s a moral issue. We have everything we need to get started, with the possible exception of the will to act, that’s a renewable resource. Let’s renew it.”

While we must congratulate Gore and cast for their great film, we must also keep fighting for legislation on Global Warming. This victory shows the American people do believe, or rather, know that Global Warming is indeed a problem and must be addressed.
