SBU Freethinkers Featured Student Newspaper

In early May of 2008, I came across a Facebook group titled, “SBU Freethinkers.” At that time, the group had less than 10 members, some of which were no longer active students at the University. Since I had already paid my deposit, I assumed that this was the perfect club to help start. And so I did…Fast forward a few months, and we have over 70 members in the Facebook group, and quite a few active members. Our core members are really great people, and the popular myth that its impossible to herd Atheists is proven false. We are growing each day, and getting somewhat popular on campus, and this only a few months after we started.
